Becoming an ACM Peer Reviewer
ACM publishes nearly 70 journals, the list of which can be found here. Please review this list and identify the publication(s) best suited to your interests and expertise. For the appropriate publications, please create an account in the journal’s submission system. Each journal’s submission system can be found within the Author Guidelines page of the journal’s website. Once your account is created in the submission system, and once you enter your relevant keywords, you will then be in that journal’s reviewer pool.
You may also reach out directly to the Editors-in-Chief of ACM publications to express your interest in getting more involved. To become a reviewer for an ACM conference, you should reach out to the conference leaders.
We encourage all current and aspiring reviewers to complete ACM’s Peer Reviewer Training and Certification Program. For most journals, if you pass the certification exam of this training program, we will update your submission system account(s) to reflect that you are an ACM Certified Reviewer for the journals you select. Please note, we will only be able to certify your peer review system account with the ACM Certified Reviewer badge if the e-mail address used to take the course exam matches your review system account e-mail address.
IMPORTANT: When contacting ACM EICs and conference leaders, and when registering on ACM submission sites, please use the e-mail address that is associated with your research publications and/or your professional e-mail address that is listed on your professional/company website, and please make sure to add keywords to your account that reflect your areas of expertise.
